Where our parts run

Drive parts for oil expellers, kettles and seed conveyors

  • Pressing

    Oil expeller main drive

Motor, multi groove V belts and a reduction gear train turning the expeller worm under heavy load.

    • Expeller pulley
    • Expeller single gear
    • Bevel pinion
  • Conditioning

    Seed cooker (kettle)

Slow stirrers inside the kettle need a compact reducer that runs all shift.

    • Kettle worm gearbox
    • Chain wheel
  • Filtration

    Filter press

Plate shifting and the feed pump run through gear and chain drives.

    • Spur gears
    • Chain sprockets
  • Conveying

    Redler and screw conveyors

Move seed and cake between machines; the drive end takes shock as the conveyor loads up.

    • Redler chain wheel
    • Taper lock bush
  • Conveying

    Bucket elevator

Lifts seed to the hoppers on a head shaft drive.

    • Elevator chain wheel
    • V belt pulley
  • Preparation

    Decorticator

Removes the shell before pressing on a belt driven beater rotor.

Built for the conditions

What oil mill drives have to handle

  • Round the clock running in season

Concentric machining and balanced pulleys so belts and bearings last longer between stops.

  • Shock loads from the expeller worm

Gears hobbed and ground in EN series steels, with hardening on request, and cast iron pulleys sized for the load.

  • Oil mist and seed dust

Black oxide or plated finishes on request, and enclosed worm gearboxes for the slow speed drives.

Replacing a worn part

Oil expeller pulleys and gears made to your sample

No drawing? A worn expeller gear, pulley or chain wheel, or clear photos with the key sizes, is enough to start. Send your expeller model if you know it.

  1. Send the part

A worn part, a drawing or photos with the key sizes.

  2. We confirm

Profile, bore, material and finish, agreed with you.

  3. We machine

CNC turning, hobbing and grinding in Ahmedabad.

  4. QC and dispatch

Checked against your sizes, packed and shipped.

FAQ

Oil Mill: common questions

Quick answers for maintenance and purchase teams.

Most oil expellers are driven from the motor through a multi groove cast iron V belt pulley, then through gears or a reduction gearbox to the expeller worm. We machine the pulley and the drive gears to your sample or drawing.

Yes. Send the worn gear, or photos with the outer diameter, tooth count, bore and keyway. We confirm the details with you and machine a matching gear. The same applies to expeller pulleys and bevel pinions.

Kettle (seed cooker) stirrers usually run on a worm reduction gearbox. Ours come in ratios from 1:5 to 1:60 and suit stirrers, conveyors and other slow speed drives in the oil mill.
